cross in a nutshell

SHOULD THIS BECOME A BAMACROSS TRADITION?-

“The greater the suffering, the greater the pleasure. That is nature’s payback to riders for the homage they pay her by suffering. Velvet pillows, safari parks, sunglasses; people have become woolly mice. They still have bodies that can walk for five days and four nights through a desert of snow, without food, but they accept praise for having taken a one-hour bicycle ride. ‘Good for you’. Instead of expressing their gratitude for the rain by getting wet, people walk around with umbrellas. Nature is an old lady with few friends these days, and those who wish to make use of her charms, she rewards passionately.”

YOU DID REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR RACE #'S...RIGHT?

it will become a Bamacross tradition once you start scattering beer around the course.

P.S. I'd prefer you scatter champagne instead of beer.

Hey, are we still intending to post race results at usac?

nah.what for?

Brent won't scatter beer over the course. That would be a waste of beer! He will, however, leave the cans scattered about.

I was going to say so people could could see their rankings, but apparently, USAC doesn't have an on-line ranking system for Cyclo-cross. Lame huh?

you are correct sir. i did however submit the results. so, you should see the results show up under your license #.

Would a ranking actually mean anything? Of course not.

I'll be in Louisville this weekend trying not to get lapped (USGP masters 35+). Wish I could be two places at once but alas. Somebody, put out some dollar premes in Tuscaroosa.
