Any suggestions on where to stay? The hotels are either booked up or waaaaaaaaaay expensive. We're coming up from Tallahassee to race, so driving up that morning is not an option. There must be a Bama game on Saturday.

i think hotels are just waay expensive these days no matter what time.try holiday inn 205-942-2041,howard johnson 942-0919,la quinta 290-0150,super 8 945-9888
These are all close to the race venue.

You can always look at hotels in the Pelham/Alabaster/Oak Mountain area. Around exit 247. The hotels might be available and cheaper.

I have pretty good luck with expedia for rooms.

Football game shouldn't be a big problem because Tuscaloosa is about 60 miles from Birmingham.

We never have problems booking a room for Bump n Grind at a reasonable rate (<$100). I tried multiple sites and we're looking at $200+ even for the likes of Quality Inn in Pelham.

hey Folks,

we're days away from a 'cross print magazine! wanted to give you heads up, and hope you'll help spread the word. Also, we're looking to get our first issue into the hands of your racers, free!

we were thinking if we could ship someone some issues for the early november race. do you know who we should contact for that race?

lastly, please have people send us race reports and photos of your races - we hope to post them all, regardless of the size of the race. you can add info@cxmagazine.com to any mailing list.

Thanks!
