COMPETITIVE VELO ROCKS
A few changes made to the series:
1) A cat. will still be paid out-(5 deep this year), B cat. will(still) be prizes 3 deep, C. cat will be medals, Juniors will be medals, Masters will be prizes 3 deep
2)Team competition will have a 5 rider cap.
3)race #'s will be used for the entire series (don't lose them) extra #'s will be $5 each.

Why only pay the As? If it's like last year, less than 10% of the people racing raced in the As. While I expect the number will be up this year, it seems kind of unfair to concentrate ALL the money there. If you'd have done this last year, 4 people would have gotten 100% of the prize money from the entire series! That doesn't encourage people to race.

How will the five person cap per team be determined?
we kicked around a few ideas like teams submitting a roster before the season started and some others. We will take the top 5 riders per team per race. So the best placed riders from any category per team per race will determine your teams race points.
we changed the point system to reflect the georgia cross setup. You can go to their site and view it un til I get the rules posted here
