I want to say thanks to Brent and all the volunteers for another great race at Avondale.

i don't deserve the thanks. thank everette herring and the birmingham bicycle company gang for that race. they put in a ton of hard work to make it happen.

Hey Bama Cross - I posted earlier and just wanted to reiterate what a great race it was. Fun and challenging course and well organized but still low key. Nice! I could have done without the flats but there's no crying in CX. I'll spread the word up here in Ohio Valley Series land. Hope to see some of you at the USGP. If you decide to come up, give me a shout out via my blog.

It was a beautiful day of racing. Not everyone had the best luck (Will Fyfe?) but that's part of what makes it racing I guess. The field sizes, for the middle two races especially, were great!

I spoke with David Hiott yesterday and they have some new surprises in store for their course down in Prattville. Everyone loved the bermed rollercoaster section, everyone hated the sand pit, but they have even more interesting sections in mind.

I was terrible through the sand pit last year, but I still hoped they would keep it. It was unique elements like the sand pit that helped make each course unique last year. Besides, ain't this 'cross stuff supposed to be hard?

+1 on the rollercoaster- tons of fun to ride.

I believe that is Troy Tucker who is pictured on this post.
