BRAP-BRAP! AVONDALE

Avondale is so close. I'm partial to this course...as I'm sure I've mentioned before. The stair climbs are offset by downhills like you see Hurley ripping. I hope to see all the usual suspect next weekend along with a fresh crop of new riders looking to see what all this stuff is about. One shot at Avondale and they'll be hooked.

Woohoo!

The park has an interesting history:
Avondale Park
(Who knew the Allman Brothers played the amphitheater in 1969?)

Brent should get the ABB's back at the very least the Dicky Betts Band. See yall on Sunday for some lung cleansing.

yo... coming down from Kentucky to race in my old hometown. Is there online registration?

"Is there online registration?"

Good one. What, hoping for a call-up?

we haven't done online registration in the past and really haven't considered it this year. we have been keeping it simple and it's been working so far. as a racer, what is the benefit of online registration? would the people like to have it?

Our local promoter uses online for all of his races. It's great. You just show up, sign the form, and grab your number and race.

Bring a bunch of folks from the Ohio Valley Series and make it so confusing for us at registration that we will have to consider it. Go Cards!

Ok. I'll bring the chaos! Looking forward to the race. See you all on Sunday. Oh one more question. Will the course be set up prior to Sunday for pre-ride?

AFAIK course marking will take place some time Saturday afternoon.

Cool. Just noticed you guys have a little hole in your schedule that could be filled by a little cruise up I-65 for the Derby City Cup that's part of the US Gran Prix of Cyclocross.

Info here => http://www.usgpcyclocross.com/Races/DerbyCityCup.aspx

Wild ass rumor that Lance may be doing the USGP.

I hope to be in da Ville this year for that race. I practiced on that course last year. The sand traps coupled with the green monster was awesome. Lance was good for the Vegas crowd but he wouldn't take my dollar or my beer.
