I rode the cross bike for lunch today. A nice ride downtown that hit some of the railroad service paths and tore up some cobbles on morris ave. On my way back home i decided to ride through sloss furnace...oh my! I mapped out a SICK course. this might have to happen.

love it. i rode my mtb over there the other day... it's 2 blocks from my condo. some sweet little trails around there.
With a name like "Sloss Cross" how can you not do it! Birmingham's steel explosion happened solely for this reason!
we need someone in the graphic design arena to come up with a good design for sloss cross...shouldn't be a hard one to rock out.

I've got a logo idea. What about an artsy fartsy image of someone "barrier" hopping the Sloss water tower?
