show up at avondale park at 8 am cross bike in tow. we'll do some laps to see what the splits look like and discuss course design. thanks bro.
Avondale has some nice features to exploit.
How was Avondale? Is there good potential for another venue?
It was fun to meet 'n' greet and ride a few laps. Avondale is a great venue, and Brent has mapped out most of what will be a cool (but challenging) course. I found out that it is the former site of the B'ham Zoo. Remnants of the original cages, paths, and stairs still exist (and are part of the course). I hope the race finds a spot on the calendar.

I don't know of a Brent-made course that isn't challenging! I'll look forward to it should it make the list. Wish I could've checked it, but I had a bike shop to tend to! Leven
O.K. I know this it late. New to cyclocross. Is the Avondale course marked in any way so someone like me can go out there and ride? Would like to ride a course before I start racing.
