brian, it's a mix of everything you mentioned. at the heading of the map (on bamacross frontpage) click on "cross bike crusher" this will take you to bikely.com where the map is fully loaded... i think there is a cue sheet... if not the map can be magnified to a point where you can write the roads down.

Is this a mix of road and dirt (redneck pave?), or just a tour of ALCX sites? What's the total length of the ride? Is there a cue sheet available?
More info! More info! I'll be moving to B'ham in a month or so and would love to give this route a try.
