a couple of clarifications
1. ALABAMA juniors race for free. we failed to clarify on some of the flyers.
2.A category payout for the individual races will be derived using the same formula as last year- $7 from all entry fees will be used for the payout bank. The bank will be split in half to provide a mens and womens payout. A payout is 5 deep as follows:40%,30%,15%,10%,5%.
A racers: the more of your non-A race buddies you bring...
I will post the full series rules and regulations close enough to race time that you won't have time to complain.

from the commissioner of cross (middle alabama branch)
It’s that time again! Break out your cross bikes (or mtb bikes, just take off your bar ends) and lets get ready to have some winter fun.
We can use Fain Park on Wednesdays for cross practice, starting next week (9/12/07). I would like to use the following schedule for the first couple of weeks.
5: 00 P.M -6:00 P.M / arrive @ park and practice skill drills
6:00 P.M - 6:50 P.M. / 3* 10’ race style efforts with 10’ easy between
6:50 P.M. - dark / cool down
Dark leave park.
If anyone else has any practice barriers please bring them as I only have two.
Might even be fun to go eat as a group if anyone else is interested.
Disclaimer these are non-sponsored events, no one is responsible for your safety other than you. Ride at your own risk.
Note* if the ground is wet we WILL cancel practice. If you are not sure, you can call me: work (334)-241-2801, cell (334) 651-1517 and ask. If your coming from out -of -town call, just to make sure.
Hope to see a bunch of you there.
Jeff Dorminey.

BAMACROSS Presented By Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q
We have a presenting sponsor for '07! Jim 'N Nick's has stepped up to the plate (no pun intended). They will be providing food for all of our events and dropping some serious coin into the kitty. Looks like those big dog series finishers will get more than a water bottle this year!
Jim and Nick's was very instumental in wanting to step up and help. Go eat there and support a kick a*s restraunt that supports your crazy sport!

'07 season details
This season is rapidly approaching. I'm having the promoters in town for a pow wow on Sunday to discuss detail. I should be able to release the specifics soon. We will basically adopt the Georgia Cross series rules with some minor revisions (imitation=flattery). I think the public will be pleased with the course details, one of the items that we have adopted this year is UCI standards for course design.
Hammer Nutrition has stepped up to provide some nice race day goodies as well as prizes, support them. If you have any questions, drop me a line.
